The Admirals won't be selling any championship merchandise this summer. Their loss to Hershey in Game 6 of the best-of-seven Calder Cup Finals on Thursday night took care of that.

But, that won't keep the Admirals from printing up new shirts, jerseys, pucks and other merchandise.

Friday morning on "The D-List," which airs weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon on Milwaukee's ESPN Radio (1510 Days / 1290 Nights) and from 10 a.m. to noon on Madison's Fox Sports Radio (100.5 FM), Admirals team president Jon Greenberg announced that the team will unveil a new logo and color scheme for next season.

The logo design, which an insider described as "a bit more nautical," and "an homage to the moive "Pirates of the Caribbean,"" will feature a blue and gray color motif. Apparently, designers have come up with a new color "Lake Michigan Blue," for the jerseys.
