Admirals officials speculated a few weeks ago that forward Alexander Radulov, Nashville's first pick (15th overall) in the 2004 draft, would not be in Milwaukee long.
They were right.
Radulov, who was named player of the week in the American Hockey League for the period ending Oct. 15, was recalled by the parent club on Friday. Radulov played three games for the Admirals and had three goals and four assists. He was the 2005-'06 Canadian Hockey League player of the year after scoring 152 points (61 goals, 91 assists) in 62 games for Quebec in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 23 playoff games, he scored 21 goals and assisted on 34.
To make room for Radulov, Nashville has placed defenseman former Admirals defenseman and captain Greg Zanon on injured reserve.
