You oughta know: Alanis Morissette is returning to Milwaukee next summer, bringing her "The Triple Moon" tour to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Sunday, July 28.

The seven-time Grammy winner will be joined on this latest Brew City stop by special guests Joan Jett & The Blackhearts as well as Morgan Wade.

Morissette last played Milwaukee in 2022, bringing her world tour to the Amp with special guest Garbage. Her music, though, was in town even more recently, as the Broadway show based on her songs, "Jagged Little Pill," hit the Miller High Life Theatre for a weekend-long run this past July.

Tickets for Morissette's latest Milwaukee tour stop will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com and Alanis Morissette's website, as well as in person at the Amp box office. There are, however, a number of presales for the concert, including a presale for Citi cardmembers starting Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. and running until Thursday, Nov. 16 at 10 p.m. Fans that sign up for Morissette's mailing list by Wednesday, Nov. 15 will also get special early access to tickets. For more information on presales, visit Alanis Morissette's website or citientertainment.com.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
