An article published by Eater Las Vegas last week reported that Paul Bartolotta, co-owner of Bartolotta’s Restaurants and two-time James Beard Award winner, is leaving his namesake restaurant, Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Bartolotta confirmed his departure in an email early this morning, though he did not provide details or information regarding his future plans, stating "I will be happy to share news at the right time."

Bartolotta, who established the restaurant at the Wynn in 2005, was known for his expert preparation of Mediterranean seafood & Italian pasta.
