Chris Blazak, a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force 440th Unit Military Police and 22-year member of the Milwaukee Police Department, needs your help.

Blazak, who saw action in Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom, developed stage four squamous cell carcinoma of the mandible. After four surgeries, his transplanted jaw did not take with his body, and the cancer has continued to grow.

In an effort to help Blazak and his family continue on with their fight against the disease, a fundraiser has been planned at Whiskey Bar, located at 788 N. Jackson St., on Nov. 9. The event will coincide with the Green Bay Packers game and run until 11 p.m.  Appetizers will be served from 5 to 9 p.m.

Patrons can make $20 donations at the door.

Twenty percent of all bar sales will go to the family.
