The Bay View Jazz Fest, which presents a range of jazz performances at seven venues during Bay View Gallery Night is back for its 10th edition, organized as always by Milwaukee Jazz Vision.
“The festival provides an opportunity for Milwaukee’s finest musicians to be showcased in front of the community at large,” says organizer and musician Jamie Breiwick. “BVJF offers the general public the opportunity to experience the best of today’s new live jazz and creative music for free in a club setting.”
The shows, Friday, May 30, take place from 5 until 11 p.m. and a full schedule is below.
“Bay View provides for an ideal festival experience, presenting groups performing all night at multiple venues within close proximity of each other,” says Breiwick. “On this night the BVJF continues to redeem the rich jazz heritage of Milwaukee.
“In line with the mission of BJVF, Milwaukee Jazz Vision continues to invigorate Milwaukee’s jazz scene by promoting and supporting the city’s diverse jazz artists, all the while bringing an increasingly growing audience to the music.”
