We've all known for years that the Beastie Boys like to "Pass the Mic," but what we didn't know is that they've also been passing the video camera.

On October 9, 2004, the Beastie Boys handed out 50 cameras to audience members at their sold-out performance in New York's famed Madison Square Garden just to see what would happen.

A year and a half worth of editing later, the seemingly appropriately titled "Awesome; I F*ckin' Shot That!" is what happened. The 90-minute film will soon hit theaters across America to reveal, in case anyone was wondering, the truth about experiencing a live Beastie Boys concert. Of course, it stars Mike D (Michael Diamond), Adrock (Adam Horovitz), and MCA (Adam Yauch) as the Beastie Boys.

And there you have it. "Awesome; I F*ckin' Shot That" makes its way almost to Milwaukee, as it screens for one night only on Thursday, March 23 at the Southport Plaza, 7101 70th Ct. in Kenosha. Tickets can be purchased at bigscreenconcerts.com or at the theater box office.
