Milwaukee is in the thick of Beer Week – which runs through April 23 – and while you may have missed some of the more than 100 events that are part of this celebration of one of Brew City's greatest contributions to humanity, it's not too late. There are still plenty of chances to sample the best craft beers around.
For the most up-to-date information about the events, check out the Beer Week app, available on both iTunes and GooglePlay. Use the app to find events, create a schedule, check in at locations, connect with friends and share pictures. It's a one-stop hub for all things Beer Week.
If paper schedules are more your thing, you can print one here or just browse the events on Milwaukee Beer Week's website. As in past years, there are prizes for patrons who attend the most events.
"Milwaukee Beer Week is more than just an event, it is a celebration of the history of our city and the incredible amount of passion and knowledge for craft beer that still exists today," said Dave Cartwright, craft sales manager for New Berlin-based beer wholesaler, Beechwood Sales and Service, in a press release. "We are incredibly excited about this year’s participants and event line-up. From sit down dinners to rare beer samplings, there is truly something for everyone."
While the majority of the events are free and open to the public, a few do require tickets or advance reservations. So be sure to check on that before you go.
