Is Sobelman's a bar or a restaurant?

Known for its burgers but also for its Bloody Marys, it doesn't really matter what you call it -- because Sobelman's garnered more than the double the readers' votes of the runner-up, Murphy's.

Sobelman's, 1900 W. St. Paul Ave., isn't exactly on the Marquette campus, and it doesn't have a traditional college bar vibe to it, but it's certainly popular among the Marquette crowd.

The former Schlitz tavern building is classic Milwaukee, and its owners have been hard at work for a decade, pleasing hungry and thirsty students the whole time.

And with burgers as good as Dave and Melanie's, it's no surprise why.
