Like many major cities, Milwaukee has plenty of options for good pizza.

Whether you're looking to sit down for a dinner with friends and enjoying a full pie, looking for for one brought to your door on a night you don't feel like cooking or just need a warm slice after a night on the town, pizza choices are plentiful.

When it comes to Milwaukee's best, though, there wasn't much of a contest. Zaffiro's finished with over than 100 votes more than its closest challenger, holding onto the title for another year.

The venerable pizzeria has been an East Side staple for nearly 60 years. Bobby Zaffiro opened the doors in 1954 and its been in the family ever since, though Marcus Investments acquired the rights to the brand name and recipes in 2007.

Today, the original restaurant at 1724 N. Farwell Avenue, is as popular as ever but you can sink your teeth into one of the crispy crust classics at Marcus' Ridge and North Shore Cinema locations.
