You'll have to wait a little longer to sing along with the piano man in Milwaukee.
On Tuesday, Billy Joel postponed his April 26 concert with Sting at American Family Field due to a recent surgery, according to a statement posted on his social media.
The postponement affects multiple tour dates, with the tour pushed back by four months. The statement said the delay allows Joel time to recover from a recent surgery and complete physical therapy under his doctors' supervision. The singer is expected to make a full recovery.
"While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first," Joel said in the statement. "I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding."
The tour is now set to resume on July 5 in Pittsburgh. Other postponed shows include tour stops in Detroit, Toronto, Syracuse, Salt Lake City, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Charlotte. A rescheduled Milwaukee date has yet to be announced, and could be tricky with the Brewers' schedule, as well.
Fans who have already purchased tickets will not need to take any action, as tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.
