Bradford Beach is always a Milwaukee summer hot spot – and it's about to get even hotter as Bloom Beach, a brand new outdoor EDM festival, will hit the beach on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Hosted from 1-8 p.m., the free beach-set electronic music festival will feature a lineup of EDM acts throwing a party next to Lake Michigan along with local vendors offering food and art, a Halo Ball court – aka a basketball-like game, but with the hoop hanging in the middle of the space rather than on stanchions at either end – and hopefully great summer vibes.
"We are thrilled to bring the energy of EDM to the shores of Bradford Beach," said Bloom Beach organizers, in a release. "This festival is not just about music; it's about creating a welcoming and positive community experience against the beautiful backdrop of Milwaukee's iconic lakefront."
The lineup of EDM acts coming to Bloom Beach has yet to be announced. For more updates on the festival's details, check out Bloom Beach's website as well as their Instagram and other social media pages.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
