Artists will open-air paint and create other forms of art for all to enjoy during the Brady Street Art Walk.
Hosted by The Brady Street Business Improvement District (BID #11) and Brett Waterhouse of Grove Gallery, the free art walk is set for Saturday, June 17 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Participating artists include: Duffy, Holly Harnisveger, Natalia Mirskaya, Jason Christenson, Jay Alprin, Fred Bell, Deborah Brooks, Desiree Fonesca, Allan Thompson-Wallace, Frank Korb, Jonathan Ellis, Carol Rode-Curley, Rich Garza, Kat Vento, Nicki Garmroth, Olivia Tharpgeorge, Grace Rogers, Kira Strain, Marion JA Vieux, Sandra Lomali, Marcia Hero, Curtis Miller, Ian Lzard, Aoiala Luck, Terry Taylor and Allie Fritsch.
The Brady Street Business Improvement District pays each artist to participate.
This year, a new activity area for kids will pop up on North Arlington Place between Hi Hat and La Masa. Kids will receive water balloons full of paint to throw at a wall to create a colorful, collaborative art piece.
Molly Snyder started writing and publishing her work at the age 10, when her community newspaper printed her poem, "The Unicorn.” Since then, she's expanded beyond the subject of mythical creatures and written in many different mediums but, nearest and dearest to her heart, thousands of articles for OnMilwaukee.
Molly is a regular contributor to FOX6 News and numerous radio stations as well as the co-host of "Dandelions: A Podcast For Women.” She's received five Milwaukee Press Club Awards, served as the Pfister Narrator and is the Wisconsin State Fair’s Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Champion of 2019.
