Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun, bothered by back stiffness, underwent a magnetic resonance imaging test today in Milwaukee. The Brewers reported that there was no structural damage and that Braun will rejoin the team in Pittsburgh.

Braun has missed two games due to the problem, which he said was related to the intercostal muscle injury that hampered him late last season.

With Braun out, the Brewers planned to unveil an unusual lineup for their game tonight against Pittsburgh. Manager Ken Macha, seeking to get right-handed bats in the lineup against Pirates lefty Paul Maholm, has third baseman Bill Hall in left and Casey McGehee at third.

Hall has never played left in his big-league career and will borrow one of Mike Cameron's gloves to do so.

Here is the Brewers' lineup:

1, Corey Hart, rf
2, J.J. Hardy, ss
3. Rickie Weeks, 2b
4. Prince Fielder, 1b
5. Mike Cameron, cf
6. Bill Hall, lf
7. Casey McGehee, 3b
8. Jason Kendall, c
9. Yovani Gallardo, p
