Much like restaurants, breweries have also felt the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) as gathering restrictions and shut-downs have prevented customers from visiting their tap rooms and gathering spaces and aluminum can shortages have dwarfed their ability to get their beer to market.

Fortunately, it's easy to support them simply by shifting our buying habits and purchasing beer directly from the breweries in the form of carry-out. To help you out, we've created this list of local spots you can patronize.

If your favorite brewery isn't listed, please consider supporting them through the purchase of gift cards, merchandise or direct funding efforts.

Looking for food? See our list of bars and restaurants offering offering take-out meals and beverages.

Note a business that's open for pick-up but not listed? Email details to me at lori@staff.onmilwaukee.com with details.

Lori is an avid cook whose accrual of condiments and spices is rivaled only by her cookbook collection. Her passion for the culinary industry was birthed while balancing A&W root beer mugs as a teenage carhop, fed by insatiable curiosity and fueled by the people whose stories entwine with each and every dish. She’s had the privilege of chronicling these tales via numerous media, including OnMilwaukee and in her book “Milwaukee Food.” Her work has garnered journalism awards from entities including the Milwaukee Press Club.

When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or recording the FoodCrush podcast, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
