Our gift to you this holiday season is Let's Eat MKE! Eat well. Save money. Support local.

Let’s Eat MKE is a digital coupon book offering $10 off your meal at 20 of the best restaurants in town.

Local restaurants need your help more than ever. PLUS 10% of sales will go directly back to local spots via our charity partner Serve60.

Buy one, gift one!

Much like restaurants, breweries have also felt the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) as gathering restrictions and shut-downs have prevented customers from visiting their tap rooms and gathering spaces and aluminum can shortages have dwarfed their ability to get their beer to market.

Fortunately, it's easy to support them simply by shifting our buying habits and purchasing beer directly from the breweries in the form of carry-out. To help you out, we've created this list of local spots you can patronize.

If your favorite brewery isn't listed, please consider supporting them through the purchase of gift cards, merchandise or direct funding efforts.

Looking for food? See our list of bars and restaurants offering offering take-out meals and beverages.

Note a business that's open for pick-up but not listed? Email details to me at lori@staff.onmilwaukee.com with details.

Lori Fredrich (Lo) is an eater, writer, wonderer, bon vivante, traveler, cook, gardener and girlwonder. Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, she has tried to leave many times, but seems to be drawn to this quirky city that smells of beer and alewives.

Some might say that she is a little obsessed with food. Lo would say she is A LOT obsessed with food. After all, she has been cooking, eating and enjoying food for decades and has no plans to retire anytime soon.

Lo's recipes and writing have been featured in a variety of publications including GO: Airtran Inflight Magazine, Cheese Connoisseur, Cooking Light, Edible Milwaukee, Milwaukee Magazine and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, as well as on the blog Go Bold with Butter, the web site Wisconsin Cheese Talk, and in the quarterly online magazine Grate. Pair. Share.
