The Brewers can't lose tonight.
Heavy rains forced the postponement of their game against Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park.
The game will be made up as part of a day / night doubleheader on Sunday. The first game starts at 12:35 p.m. and the nightcap at 6:35 p.m.
The Phillies won the opener of the four-game series Thursday night, moving within three games of the Brewers in the race for the National League wild-card.
Philadelphia left-hander Cole Hamels (12-9) and Brewers southpaw Manny Parra (10-7), who were slated to start Friday, will start Saturday instead. Milwaukee will send Dave Bush (9-10) and Jeff Suppan (10-8) to the mound Sunday. Joe Blanton (2-0) and Brett Myers (9-11) will pitch for the Phillies.
Both teams are off Monday, but the Brewers voted for a doubleheader rather than giving up a day off.
Plans could change again. Forecasts for Saturday call for more showers in Philadelphia.
