On the night the NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks will celebrate some history, handing out replica NBA Finals rings to the first 10,000 fans, the team will also make some history as the team revealed Bonnie Oleson will serve as the game's public address announceer – the first female PA announcer in Bucks history.

For the past 24 years, Oleson has served as the PA announcer for the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball, volleyball and softball teams. She'll take the mic for Thursday night's Bucks game against the Washington Wizards as a part of the team's Women's History Month celebrations.

“We are so excited to have Bonnie as our PA announcer for Thursday’s game,” said Bucks Executive Producer of Arena & Event Presentation Johnny Watson, in a release. "Bonnie is an experienced PA announcer, and she will bring her exceptional talent to the Bucks’ mic at Fiserv Forum."

“I’m thrilled to be the Bucks’ PA announcer for Thursday’s game and to celebrate Women’s History Month at Fiserv Forum,” Oleson said, in the announcement. "It’s an honor to become a part of Bucks history and to have this amazing opportunity."

The defending champs are currently in third place in the East, just a game and a half behind the first-place Miami Heat with only ten games left in the regular season. So stay tuned to OnMilwaukee as the playoff push heats up – and hopefully another run to the Finals begins.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
