Milwaukee business leaders will gather Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. in support of the Milwaukee streetcar at a news conference hosted at ManpowerGroup’s headquarters, 100 Manpower Pl., in Downtown Milwaukee. Media are invited to attend.
CEOs of some of Milwaukee’s most notable companies will be joined by civic and nonprofit leaders urging the Milwaukee Common Council to take action to move the Milwaukee streetcar forward at its meeting on Feb. 10. Speakers will include:

The Milwaukee streetcar is a vital part of a larger growth strategy that includes the creation of thousands of local jobs and nearly $5 billion in current and proposed Milwaukee development. The streetcar will connect the dots between major new developments and provide the momentum to spark the next wave of economic development and job creation.
