After roughly a year in business, Capone's Grotto is closed, leaving a vacancy at 1003-1007 N. Old World 3rd St.

A message on the restaurant's Web site said that the restaurant owners lost their lease and shut down Sept. 26.

The restaurant opened a year ago, replacing Jewel of India.
