Cavalier Wine Bar, 407 E. Jackson St. in Port Washington, is getting ready to deck its halls and host a “National Lampooon’s Christmas Vacation” pop-up beginning Monday, Dec. 2 and extending through Tuesday, Dec. 31.

During the pop-up, guests are invited to escape from the usual grind and enjoy a festive experience in the whimsical world of Clark Griswold and his misadventures, seasonal cheer and deliciously themed drinks inspired by the beloved holiday classic film.

Among the delicious drink options, guests will find the Mele Kalikimaka, a tropical quaff that blends in a bit of holiday flavor, served in a festive Santa tiki mug. Available in both zero and full proof.

But that’s not all, they will also find Aunt Bethany, Does Your Cat Eat Jello? This playful concoction is served in a decorative ornament with a jello shot on the inside, reminiscent of Aunt Bethany’s quirky charm. Also available in both zero and full proof.

And more!

There will also be plenty of holiday music, photo ops with iconic movie props and additional festive activities as detailed on the Cavelier website and Facebook event page.

Don’t miss out on this chance to create unforgettable  memories with family and friends. Channel your inner Griswold, and join us for a celebration that promises to be a “hilarious” hit this holiday season!

The “Christmas Vacation” Pop-Up will kick off on Dec. 2 with hours from Monday through Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m., Friday from 3 to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
