Ciclovia MKE is an open-street bike initiative with the purpose of uniting the Milwaukee community through positive health, social, environmental and economic growth.

This is the sixth annual Ciclovia MKE, an event that has become known as Southside Bicycle Day and aims to raise awareness for the safety of cyclists in the community.

Ciclovia MKE is free and open to the public. Those planning to attend can enjoy riding their bikes along the car-free route. Attendees will have the opportunity to win one of the hundreds of children's bicycles available for giveaway, and will also be able to take advantage of the activities along the route to support healthy living and an active lifestyle.

Where: Clarke Square; the route is Cesar E. Chavez Drive to Layton Boulevard via National and Greenfield Avenues

When: 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2017

Admission: Free, open to the public. Those attending can bike, walk or participate in the events along the route.
