Shopping online is old hat, and while the term "Cyber" is way outdated "Cyber Monday" is here to stay.

Born in 2005 by the National Retail Foundation, sales for Cyber Monday in the first year were $484 million, according to digital comScore.  By 2012 they had more than tripled to $1.465 billion.  Something tells that we’ll top $2 billion this year.

And, we’ll do our small part but on a local level.  Even with the OnMilwaukee.com Shop Local marketplace still in beta, the store’s shelves are full and they await you.

From local art, including the now somewhat famous footer print from OnMilwaukee.com to local T-shirts, sports memorabilia, unique Milwaukee stuff like a CityTins water bottle, cool, local electronics like a piano wet bar, PonyBug from Fox 6’s Brad Hicks, Christmas ornaments and more.

Dive in, Milwaukee.  The shopping waters are warm and hyper local.
