Join us on Saturday, July 22 for some lakeside munchies at the second annual OnMilwaukee Food Truck Fest. Choose from a menu of 20 trucks and enjoy the live music, games and entertainment. It's the biggest gathering of the best food on four wheels.

Following Dave’s Hot Chicken on Instagram will pay off in free food on July 20.

Fans of Dave’s Hot Chicken are known for touting that the hot chicken brand is so good that everyone should try it. Of course, Dave’s advertising firm took that sentiment and ran with it, launching a humorous campaign that encourages people to try Dave’s "before something unforeseen happens to them."

To bring the point home, Dave’s selected Wisconsin’s only location in Menomonee Falls, for a special promotion, the success of which will determine if the offering goes nationwide.

On Wednesday, July 20 from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Dave’s Hot Chicken in Menomonee Falls is giving away a free tender or slider on the house to anyone who visits the location at N92 W16125 Falls Pkwy. and shows that they follow the brand on Instagram. The promotion is only available in-store and cannot be claimed online or through third party delivery.

The brand, which opened its first Wisconsin location last January (and is slated to open another on the East Side) specializes in hot chicken tenders and sliders and sides. The chicken is available at seven spice levels varying from “no spice” to Reaper (a level so hot it requires a waiver).

“Dave’s Hot Chicken will blow your mind! Every Tender is hot, juicy and spicy,” noted Bill Phelps, Dave’s Hot Chicken’s CEO in a release about the promotion.

“Our guests in Wisconsin have shown the same level of enthusiasm for this company that the founders had five years ago when they were operating a little pop up in Hollywood. As a thank you for such a warm welcome, we wanted to be sure that everyone in the area has an opportunity to try our amazing sliders and tenders on Chef Dave.”
