According to East Side BID Executive Director Jim Plaisted, Milwaukee's East Side is finally filling a couple of its vacant storefront holes.

Neroli Salon & Spa is opening its fourth area location inside the Kenilworth Building. Neroli is calling it its first "boutique salon," offering the latest in hair cutting and color. The retail store is set it to open Tuesday, Dec. 22, with services available as of Jan. 5.

And just around the corner, No. 1 Chinese opens its seventh Milwaukee area location within the Clock Tower building, next to Jalisco Restaurant at the intersection of North and Prospect Avenues. The new restaurant will be take-out only.
