Emma Mertens, a 7-year-old girl from Hartland who was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer, has requested "letters from dogs."

According to a gofundme page, last weekend Emma had a normal weekend playing with her brothers, enjoying the snowfall and seeing friends. On Sunday she got a headache and by Wednesday she was rushed into surgery to reduce swelling on her brain. Emma was diagnosed with a rare, inoperable brain tumor called DIPG.

Now, Emma – who adores animals – has requested letters from dogs to cheer her up. We got this, right Milwaukee dog owners?

You can send your dog letters and photos / videos to Emma via snail mail or email.
