This was not, by any stretch, a bad Sunday night of TV.
The Yankees played the Red Sox at Fenway.
The cheating Patriots played the Chargers in Foxboro.
Robert Duvall, Tony Bennett and even some younger folk like Jon Stewart won awards at the Emmys, which for some bizarre reason were presented at a theater "in the round."
It wasn't a bad Sunday night. But, something was missing.
I'm having "Entourage" withdrawals.
The HBO series, which centers on the life and times of heartthrob actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), his three close buddies, manager and psychotic director, is on hiatus until next year and I miss it already.
The season finale saw the gang at Cannes, where their self-produced movie sold for far less than expected. There were many memorable moments in that and earlier episodes that we'll have to resort to some trivia to get us through the long layoff.
With that in mind, here is my list of favorite season four moments for each character in the series. Use the Talkbacks to add your own:
Vincent Chase (Grenier) -- With his cash reserves depleted by "Medellin," our hero picks up a girl on the street (literally) and finds himself gambling on soccer action at Dennis Hopper's beach house. As usual, everything works out.
Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly) -- Watching ‘E' fumble through the beginning of his work relationship with Anna Farris was fun, but not as fun as watching him run across ex-girlfriend Sloan at the Mondrian pool and forget the name of his British companion. Eric's best moment, though, was fighting Billy Walsh at Barney's.
Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) -- Any scene with Ari is a showstopper, but the episode in which he pulls out all the stops to get his son into a posh private school is an all-time classic.
Billy Walsh (Rhys Coro) -- Seeing the director in the bathroom with a bottle of booze and an unloaded gun was priceless, but Walsh's best moment this season was when he interrogated the crew on "Medellin" to find out who slept with the hot Latina actress he was obsessed with at the time.
Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) -- Two words: bunny suit.
Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) -- In many ways, Drama is the George Costanza of this show because his flaws and neuroses are exposed. The best moments he had came in the finale, when he fell for the lovely French lass at Cannes and in the episode when he ends up with the bunny suit and the furry.
