Falafel Guys is making a big move.

The former food truck owned by Ron Stroli and his wife Chrissy, opened a brick and mortar restaurant at 105 W. Freistadt Rd in Thiensville in 2015. But they will be leaving it behind in favor of new digs at the Mequon Public Market at 6300 W. Mequon Rd.

The Market, which lost three vendors this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic, noted in June that leases were out for the vendor spaces that formerly housed Bavette, Beans & Barley and Bowls.

According to a post on Facebook, the Thiensville location will be closed beginning Friday, July 31 to accommodate the move.

To satiate fans' cravings for items like falafel and shawarma, the Falafel Guys food truck will be parked outside of the Thiensville location on August 1-2, offering a limited menu.

Falafel Guys is expected to be up and running at the Mequon Public Market by August 4.
