Beginning Thursday, Sept. 20, there will be more to love at Fauntleroy, 316 N. Milwaukee St.

That’s because Milwaukee’s newest French restaurant will launch its first happy hour, complete with a burger that Chef Daniel Jacobs describes as "sheer perfection."

Beverage specials will include $2 off beer taps and a daily punch special for $7. There will also be $6 pours of bubbly along with pours of white, red and rose for $6-7.

Nibbles include $2 oysters and shrimp cocktail for $1 each. The restaurant will also debut a croque madame, the classic French sandwich featuring Iron Grate BBQ Co. ham, Gruyere and bechamel topped with a fried egg ($8).

Meanwhile, the Grande Royale burger will feature two tender ground beef brisket patties, a secret sauce, shredded lettuce, cheese, pickles and a sesame seed bun ($8) ... yeah.

Need your happy hour fix before Thursday? Just take a peek at Fauntleroy's Instagram feed (and do them a solid afterwards by giving them a follow).

Fauntleroy’s happy hour will take place Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
