This past week, Madison-based Forage Kitchen received conditional use approval from the Village of Whitefish Bay to open its sixth location at 103 E. Silver Spring Drive.

The fast-casual restaurant concept is best known for its specialty salads, grain bowls and juice bar selections. They also operate with a commitment to sourcing products from local farms and Wisconsin vendors. You can get a peek at the plans for the new restaurant here:

Plans for the Forage Kitchen in Whitefish Bay includes an outdoor seating area, landscaping and bike parking. Although a firm timeline for the opening has not yet been announced, construction is unlikely to begin in late 2023.

Forage Kitchen opened its first location on State Street in Madison in 2015. The brand now operates four Madison-area locations as well as a location in Champaign, Illinois. The restaurant is also the entity behind the Forage kombucha brand, which is available in store as well as at select retailers. You can view their current menu online.
