It's time to figure out which girl in green or brown is going to deliver your boxes of Girl Scout cookies this year, because sales start Wednesday, Feb. 1.

This year, the Girl Scouts introduced a new, online exclusive cookie: the Raspberry Rally. This thin, crispy cookie is infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in the same chocolate coating as the Thin Mints.

The new cookie, along with all of the other classic favorites, can be purchased through a local Girl Scout, at cookie booths throughout the region and online.

Through cookie sales, local Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) will earn newly updated Financial Literacy badges as well as help fund programs provided by GSWISE. These programs encourage young girls to discover their passions and learn important skills that will help throughout all of their adventures.

Last year, 8,308 scouts in GSWISE sold a total of 1,728,000 packages of cookies. The most popular cookie variety among cookie-lovers in 2022 was Thin Mints (23 percent of total cookie sales).

This year, Girl Scouts of all ages are aiming high with individual cookie sale goals, striving to build their business smarts, earn money for activities they choose and prepare for amazing adventures that last a lifetime.

If you don’t know a Girl Scout, you can order cookies at girlscoutcookies.org or text COOKIES to 59618* to find cookie booths available in your area. Beginning February 17, enter your zip code to purchase from a local Girl Scout troop online for shipment to your door, or to donate cookies to local causes.

From March 3 – March 29, Girl Scouts will begin selling at cookie booths in participating public locations around southeastern Wisconsin.

“Encouraging an interest in entrepreneurship builds curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills—qualities that prepare Girl Scouts for civic engagement and academic and career success that they can use the rest of their lives,” said Christy Brown, chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast. “When you purchase your favorite Girl Scout cookies, you are contributing to helping Girl Scouts learn the skills they need to succeed in life and make the world a better place.”
