The coronavirus pandemic has changed our everyday life, but it doesn't need to change who we are. So, in addition to our ongoing coverage of the coronavirus, OnMilwaukee will continue to report on cool, fun, inspiring and strange stories from our city and beyond. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay informed and stay joyful. We're all in this together. #InThisTogetherMKE

Numerous readers have requested an easy-to-reference list of venues offering gluten-free options for pick-up. The following list is not comprehensive of all restaurants offering gluten-free dishes; however, it intentionally includes bakeries and restaurants which are known for employing responsive, gluten-free protocols (including dedicated fryers, kitchen spaces, etc.) that allow them to serve food items which are safe for most.

Nonetheless, you are still advised to ask questions, verify that gluten-free protocols are being used, and advocate for yourself in order to ensure you will receive a safe meal.

These are tough times, so please be kind and tip well.
