Wanna celebrate St. Paddy's Day in a way that doesn't include green beer? Rally the family for CelticMKE’s Irish Family Day.

The sham-rockin' event takes place on Sunday, March 12, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the CelticMKE Center in Wauwatosa. The space, which is the headquarters for Milwaukee Irish Fest, will transform into an immersive Irish experience with lively entertainment and interactive activities for the whole family.

With an Irish "passport," families will explore nine different counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Each county will feature an interactive activity which celebrates Irish culture, history and traditions. Children will get their passports stamped along the way, earning a prize at the end of their journey.

The Celtic Cafe will serve lunch and snacks, five Irish dance schools will perform, Belfast native Ian Gould will provide music and roaming storytellers will fill the halls. Families can also watch students from the Milwaukee Irish Fest School of Music perform traditional Irish tunes.

Admission is $15 per family at the door and includes all activities. Attendees can also take advantage of a special Milwaukee Irish Fest ticket promotion: Buy one general admission ticket for the 2023 festival and get one free.

Full program details are available at celticmke.com.
