Iron Grate BBQ Co., the much anticipated barbecue restaurant set to open at 4177 S. Howell Ave., will be a bit longer in coming than expected.
The restaurant, which plans to serve up a variety of smoked meats and Southern-inspired sides, originally planned for a Dec. 4 opening. But according to news received today from chef and owner Aaron Patin, the restaurant will need to postpone its opening.
"Given our unique business model of outdoor and year-round cooking, we are taking extra time to ensure that all procedures are approved through each city department," notes Patin.
