There's this mythical season called (*checks notes*) "summer," during which you can see the sun, temperatures are well over zero degrees (even over 50 degrees!) and walking outside for more than two minutes isn't a life-threatening challenge. I know; craziness. And joining the warm weather when that alleged season arrives will be John Mayer, performing at Fiserv Forum on Tuesday, Aug. 6 – the soul pop crooner's first gig in Milwaukee since heading Summerfest in 2013.
Since breaking out in 2003, Mayer has released numerous hit singles, including the tracks "No Such Thing," Daughters," "Your Body Is A Wonderland," "Waiting on the World to Change" and "Gravity," winning seven Grammy awards in the process – including Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 2005 for "Daughters." His most recent album, "The Search for Everything," arrived in 2017.
Fan presale tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. at John Mayer's website, as well as for American Express card members beginning Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, Jan. 31 at 10 p.m. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public starting on Friday, Feb. 1 at Fiserv Forum's website.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
