I've never taken for granted the conversations I've had with actors, comedians, chefs or musicians. I've treated them all with the intention that a few years later they would remember me and want to do a second or third interview. Some people in media use interviews to help launch their own careers by asking stupid questions or trying to be more of an entertainer than their own guest. I on the other hand want to form relationships with my guests and enjoy the conversations. One guy that I've been lucky to interview multiple times is actor, writer, producer and director Kevin Heffernan aka Farva of Super Troopers.

Kevin and the rest of the Broken Lizard comedy group are known for other movies like Beer Fest, Club Dread and Slammin' Salmon. They are the type of guests you want to stay on good terms with because you never know when they'll put out another hilarious movie or do sketch comedy here in Milwaukee.

On Thursday June 20th, two of the founding members of Broken Lizard will be performing at The Miramar Theatre. Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan are touring, writing, preparing a new web series called the Adventures of Fatty and Tatty and they have their own podcast called Chewin' It on Nerdist.com.

In today's Kramp Cast Kevin Heffernan joins me to talk about some of his favorite Milwaukee experiences from getting a bicycle pump of beer shoved down his throat at the BBC to singing Take Me Out To The Ball Game at Miller park. Plus I find out the status of Super Troopers 2. Will it happen? Listen to find out. Enjoy!
