This month, Kind Oasis launched Kind Oasis + Friends, a program to support local, small business owners and creators by providing space for a variety of Pop-Up events inside its CBD Apothecary and General Store, 2169 N. Farwell Ave.
“Kind Oasis + Friends aims to build partnerships with emerging, local entrepreneurs and brands by offering space for single-day events or longer-term residencies,” said Kellan Dore, Marketing Manager at Kind Oasis.
Mike and Jess Chirchirillo of CollectiveFlow MKE recently joined the Kind Oasis + Friends program.
“We are so excited and grateful to host yoga classes and wellness workshops at Kind Oasis,” said Jess. “Our classes, both virtual and in-person, are designed for all levels, taking the simple approach of ‘feel good first, the rest will follow.'"
Kind Oasis + Friends also accepted Sugar Studio into the program, which makes hand-batched chocolates, confections, candied nuts and gift baskets. Travis Martinez, chef, and owner of Sugar Studio was a finalist on Food Network’s Cake Wars Christmas Season 1.
“My passion is to bring high-quality hand-crafted chocolates, confections and pastries to the Milwaukee area. I'm so excited to be able to partner up with Kind Oasis,” said Martinez.
You can meet the owners of Sugar Studio, Collective Flow MKE and other local Creators at the Kind Oasis Valentines Pop-up Market on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Pop-up will feature handmade jewelry, wellness gifts, candles, cards, artwork, hemp products and pet accessories.
In addition to the event, Heirloom MKE Food Truck, which supports local farmers and purveyors, will also be on-site serving lunch. Curbside pickup is also available.
Kind Oasis is committed to the health and safety of all visitors and will provide free masks, hand sanitizer and touchless payment processing. The business will also enforce all CDC measures with a one-way flow throughout the store.
Kind Oasis is a modern apothecary that carries natural wellness and CBD products including their own line of CBD. The team has made the commitment to support local and #ShopSmall by providing an array of merchandise made in Wisconsin. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“A fast yet simple way to revitalize the Milwaukee economy is to support local businesses,” said Salem Kashou, co-owner of Kind Oasis. “There are so many unique products and brands made in Milwaukee that will benefit from the exposure this program offers."
