Ho ho oh no, there's a whole bunch of good stuff leaving Netflix in December. And also "Yoga Hosers."

Indeed, the Big Red Streaming Monolith – which, now with the official start of the Streaming Wars, maybe should be renamed the Moderately Sized Streaming Participant – must hope it truly is better to give rather than to receive during the holiday season because when it comes to productions from outside studios, more are on the way out than on the way in. "Thor: Ragnarok" and "The Last Jedi," two of the straggling Disney titles remaining on Netflix, will leave in December, surely to find a new home on Disney+ right afterward, while other hits – from the "Rocky" series to "Rain Man," "Pulp Fiction," "Black Hawk Down," "Wet Hot American Summer," "Schindler's List" and many more – will also go their separate way from the streaming service by 2020.

Your holiday binge-watching plans should probably include "Frasier" as well since the growingly beloved sitcom will leave the service by the time the ball drops on the current decade, likely changing teams over to CBS All Access – yes, that's ANOTHER streaming service you'll have to subscribe to – or some other high bidder.

So get to watching these Netflix selections before, like Christmas music on the radio on Dec. 26, they're gone without a trace.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
