The Thanksgiving feasting is over – so let the binge-watching begin! Because much like the mashed potatoes on the holiday table, these movies and TV shows are vanishing from Netflix sooner rather than later.
Thankfully the list of December departures isn't horribly long – but it is long on comfort food watches and quality programming. Need a big blockbuster after a big meal? Then watch "Casino Royale" (still the best Bond movie), the surfer spectacular "Point Break" or the "Men in Black" trilogy before they're gobbled up by another streamer. Prepping for awards season? Then cue up "Blue Jasmine" or "Chocolat" (if you stand the sight of food after all that eating yesterday) before they're gone. The retro kids classics "A Little Princess" and the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movies will become a thing of the past in December – and for something very much not for kids, the Stanley Kubrick double feature of "A Clockwork Orange" and "Eyes Wide Shut" will leave as well. It's all no laughing matter – though "I Love You, Man," "Vacation" and "Police Academy" certainly are, so watch them while you still can on the Big Red Streaming Monolith.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film.
