We may be leaving the horrors of 2020 behind, but one sad reality is coming with us into the new year: Netflix is gonna get rid of movies and TV shows you love.

The culling list for start of the year isn't brutal, though there are some quality picks going to other streaming pastures including the Oscar-nominated masterpieces "A Serious Man" and "The Master;" the indie gem "Swiss Army Man" (still the only movie starring Daniel Radcliffe as a dead corpse that somebody rides across the ocean like a farting jet ski to safety!); the popular streaming hit "Waco;" the special stoner comedy "Pineapple Express;" Zac Efron's meathead DJ movie "We Are Your Friends" that's ... actually kinda good(?!) and more.

Here's the full list of what's leaving the Shrinking Red Streaming Once-Monolith to start the year.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
