New year, new departures from Netflix.
Yes, the Big Red Streaming Monolith announced the latest batch of movies and television shows singing "Auld Lang Syne" to the service – and while thankfully it's not a hefty list, there are some notable names that will be no more on Netflix. For instance, the Oscar-nominated (and under-appreciated) tech drama "Steve Jobs" will log off Netflix in the middle of January, while the cult-classic sequel "Addams Family Values" will be gone in a snap at the end of the month.
Here's the full list of movies and TV shows leaving Netflix to start the year.
"L.A.'s Finest" seasons 1-2
"Yummy Mummies" season 1
"Z Nation" seasons 1-5
"She's Funny That Way"
"Addams Family Values"
"Battle: Los Angeles"
"The Borgias" seasons 1-3
"Rambo: Last Blood"
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
