Autumn's on the approach, and while the leaves fall and blow off the trees next month, so will a pile of movies and TV shows off Netflix.

Here's something that's definitely not shagadelic, baby: Barely after its arrival on the Big Red Streaming Monolith in July, the Austin Powers trilogy will already head back into cryogenic slumber. "Air Force One" will get ... off ... Netflix's ... plane. And here's a brutal blow: Fight-happy films "The Karate Kid" and "Kung Fu Panda" AND "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" will all kick it elsewhere by the end of September.

The clock will hit midnight on the excellent low-key sci-fi indie gem "Midnight Special"; it's strike three for the critically acclaimed trio of "The Queen," "Boogie Nights" and "The Pianist"; and just about all of the "Star Trek" on Netflix will have to live long and prosper on another streaming service.
