When Lee Brice tweeted "Love ya'll" to his Milwaukee fans (and to our review of his Saturday night show at The Rave), he must've really meant it. Less than 48 hours after that gig, Brice announced his return to Brew City, helping celebrate Gathering at the Green's 25th anniversary by performing at next year's festival on July 12 with special guest Post Monroe.
After getting much start in country music writing songs for the likes of Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Jason Aldean, Brice finally began breaking out as a solo artist in 2010 with his debut studio album, "Love Like Crazy." Over the years, his star only grew with hits like "Parking Lot Party," "Drinking Class" and "I Don't Dance." His most recent album, the self-titled "Lee Brice," was released last November, including singles "Boy" and "Rumor."
Tickets for the Gathering on the Green show will go on sale beginning Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. For information on the concert or tickets, visit Gathering on the Green's website or call (262) 242-6187.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
