Experience the collision of Milwaukee-made spirits and Indianapolis ingenuity during a special cocktail event this weekend at the cheel, 105 S. Main St. in Thiensville.
Sunday, Aug. 21 beginning at 7 p.m., the cheel will be hosting a craft cocktail takeover featuring the creations of bartenders Mike Toscano, Brooke Harris and Ryan Puckett of the Libertine Liquor Bar in Indianapolis.
During the event, customers can enjoy creative cocktails from a one-night-only menu featuring locally produced spirits from Twisted Path Distillery and Gamle Ode along with bitters from Bittercube.
Featured cocktails will include:
- Puckett’s "Tiger Lily" featuring Gamle Ode Celebration Aquavit, lime, pineapple, Coco Lopez, basil and Bittercube Corazon bitters
- Puckett’s "Two Night Stand" with Twisted Path Vodka, Aperol, lemon, honey syrup, orange peel and Bittercube Jamaican #2 bitters;
- Toscano’s "Grassy Knoll" with Twisted Path white rum, honey syrup, blackberry thyme shrub, lime and Bittercube Jamaican #1 bitters;
- Hayden’s "Gran Torino" with Twisted Path gin, Gran Classico, Cocchi Americano, Yellow Chartreuse and Bittercube orange bitters.
- Harris’s "Twisted Remedy" with dark rum, brown butter syrup and Bittercube Blackstrap bitters.

In 2024, Lori was honored with a "Top 20 Women in Hospitality to Watch" award by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.
