A year ago, La Cage, the iconic LGBTQ nightclub, rebranded and changed its name to LVL. Now, according to its PR manager, Tommy Franecki, it's changing back to La Cage, 801 S. 2nd St., both in name and programming.

"We have made some changes and we decided we are going back to the old name and our 'old' style, drag shows, open mic nights and themed parties," says Franecki

Corey Grubb and George Prentice ran the space from 1984 until 2005 and regained ownership in 2017.

A re-re-opening of La Cage is planned for the very near future. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more information soon.
