Rumors fueled by a hints made during Sunday’s Packers game in Green Bay that Paul McCartney will perform at Lambeau Field next year are true.

McCartney, who has played a couple times in Milwaukee in recent years, at Miller Park and Summerfest, and who already has a June 6 gig announced for the Kohl Center in Madison, will appear at Lambeau on June 8, the Packers announced at a press conference this morning.

The show is part of his "Freshen Up Tour 2019" and one of four stadium dates announced today. The others are in Los Angeles, San Diego and Arlington, Texas.

Paul McCartney’s latest record, "Egypt Station," was released in September.

Tickets go on sale Monday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. Prices have not been announced.
