The Brewers hit the lights out at Miller Park.

Literally.

Sort of.

Not long after taking a commanding 9-2 lead Saturday night against the Cubs (and giving a handful of those back in the eighth inning), the outfield lights at Miller Park began to flicker. Then, they went out.

Umpires stopped play at 9:16 p.m., making what had already been a painfully long game even longer.

At about 9:37 -- 20 minutes after the delay began --  the lights came back on and Todd Coffey is heading out to the mound to get the Brewers out of the eighth.

After last night's 2 hour 25 minute contest, maybe FS Wisconsin needed to get in some extra commercials.
