The new Monsoon Wok & Lounge, 17800 W. Bluemound Rd., opens its doors for lunch today at 11 a.m. The restaurant is similar to the Downtown location, with Asian-fusion cuisine, a cocktail lounge and patio.

Monsoon Brookfield is Mo's Restaurants first suburban restaurant venture to open. A second Mo's Irish Pub is also slated to open in Wauwatosa.

"Monsoon will add a new dining dimension to Brookfield," said Mo's Restaurants owner Johnny Vassallo. "Like our Downtown location, Monsoon will feature Asian-fusion cuisine, Tiki drinks, sake and smoking martinis. The atmosphere is as delightful as the food and as intoxicating as the drinks."
