Frank Almond, who holds the Charles and Marie Caestecker Concertmaster Chair at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, has received his second Grammy nomination in two years, along with his New York City chamber group, An die Musik, for "Best Spoken Word Album for Children."

The nomination is for "The Emperor's New Clothes" (Newport Classics), which includes composer Peter Schickele's adaptation of the familiar story and "Aesop Suite," by Jerzy Sapieyevski, inspired by Aesop's fables. This disc is part of the chamber group's "Timeless Tales and Music of Our Time" series.

Almond returned to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in 2003 after a season as Concertmaster of the Rotterdam Philharmonic. Almond, who is also director of Frankly Music Chamber Series based in Milwaukee, lives in Milwaukee with his wife and daughter.
