I'm not sure Netflix understands the concept of Christmas. How else can you explain that, on Christmas Day, the apex of this season of giving, the streaming service will take away "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" – aka the only good movie in the franchise?

Unfortunately, that's not the only big name leaving Netflix soon, according to the recently released list of movies and TV shows on their last legs for the month of December. Still bingeing your way through "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"? Well, you better hurry up because Netflix is about to rain on your "It's Always Sunny" parade, removing all eleven seasons of the hit sitcom on December 9. And speaking of no laughing matter, the spoof classic "Young Frankenstein" will be laid to rest on the first of the month. Plus, if all you want for Christmas is "All I Want for Christmas," well, better start rewriting your wish list, because that's leaving at the first of the month too. Because who would possibly be looking for a Christmas movie to watch on Netflix during the month of December?

Anyways, check out the full list of the movies and TV shows leaving Netflix in December – and be sure to check it twice!

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
