The great Mouse House Netflix exodus rages on, as the big red streaming monolith announced its May departures today, highlighted by a flock of Disney Channel original movies heading back home to the house Walt built.

So say goodbye to "High School Musical," "Cadet Kelly," "Camp Rock," "The Cheetah Girls" and more  ... at least for now, as they're all sure to pop back up when Disney debuts its upcoming rival streaming service, expected sometime in fall of 2019. And, unfortunately, the Disney-related farewells are not exclusive to its TV movies, as the live-action (aka mostly CG-animated) remake of "The Jungle Book" will also bail from Netflix right at the end of the month. So catch that while you can – or just wait until Disney probably remakes it again in 20 years or so.

Sadly, the May departures aren't limited to Disney, either. I hope you got around to watching "GoodFellas" in the three months it was available on Netflix, because it's gone on the first, as well as fellow classics "Field of Dreams," "The Hurt Locker," "Ocean's 11" and the incredibly titled "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar." But the saddest goodbye?

In the arms of the angels ...

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
